The property at 1408 N Main is a one-story wood frame cottage with one dormer, one chimney and boxed eaves. The independently roofed full-width front porch wraps down the south elevation to a projection and is supported on boxed wood columns. The typical window is a 1/1 double-hung, and the entrace has a single light over a decorative panel, and a single-light transom. Across the rear of the house is an enclosed porch. The home was built in 1908.
We purchased this property in November of 2022 and are currently working to rehabilitate it. The first project was undertook was clearing of trees from the side and front. Below are photos of the home throughout the years, all but one before we purchased the home.
